The walls are not what they seem.
CW: Flesh/gore, disturbing imagery, strong horror themes, flashing images, choking
What is the relation between me, my identity, and the computer? Digital spaces vs tangible ones, technology vs flesh, nostalgia for a time that never existed vs a present in which nothing has changed.

[WORKING TITLE] is a psychological horror typing game. You must finish your project before the impending deadline, fighting through your ever draining energy and unsettling nightmares.
Do not mind your roommate.
The ever looming presence of your roommate.

This is part of “Mindfully afraid”, my design masters project about the connection between game design, horror and stoic meditation.
Controls: WASD + Mouse to move, Keyboard to type, Esc to exit typing screen

spooky
PC sometimes doesn’t recognize keyboard presses and only does so after re-entering work mode. I also noticed a bug at a later day in the story where food items are no longer usable for replenishing sanity.
Though it’s hard to say for sure if it is a bug, because of how much more difficult things become. Arguably too difficult.
